I have heard that Marston's defense of Wonder Woman always being tied up was that it was a way to put her in jeopardy without requiring horrific violence. Any thoughts on that, does it hold up or is it a flimsy excuse?
I mean, I can see that but honestly, it sounds more like it was a workaround to divert scrutiny to what he was doing in a time that truly wasn't open to what was on the comics page.
