I never noticed just how much they bring the uniform together until they got rid of them.

Batman could use some underpants too.

The underpants come from circus costume traditions, or so I have read; but beyond being a welcome fashion accessory, apparently they also served the practical purpose of protecting audiences from a performer's butt if his pants ripped during the act.

Man, it didn't take long to get rid of Jim Lee's Nehru collars, did it?
